  A pretty large grocery market operated by the Loblaw group of companies. It's pretty well stocked from produce to clothing. Note that the deli and fresh fish counters may close early... 2 hours before closing.

  This is the place I love to go for groceries but I have my concern. These days I saw an elderly employee there was pushing the shopping carts in the parking lot to the store. It was cold, windy, and the ground was slippery. He seemed very tired. I feel it is not that considerate to ask an old man to do such job.

  My last resort grocery store in St. John's even though it's close by. First problem is the shopping carts. I can never get one of the smaller sized ones here and instead must push around one of their oversized carts. Chances are that the cart's wheels cause it to veer to one side which makes it even more frustrating. Also, if you want to use a small basket instead you better buy one since you'll never find one near the entrance.
  Second problem is you will often have to use self-checkout since they won't have many cashiers on unless it's really busy and then you'll face long lines anyway.
  Third problem is layout. Some of the isles seem too narrow ever since they decided a few years ago to make room for a department store. Also if you go on a milk and juice run you should like walking because these items are much further apart than I have seen in any other store.
  Fourth problem is outside the store which requires cars to drive along a road in front of the store to get to the parking lot. It takes longer to get to a parking spot as you probably have to stop a couple times for pedestrians and other vehicles to move out of the way. And when you walk into the store from the lot you have to be extra mindful of the traffic. Then there are the people who park or wait in their cars in front of the store and impede the flow of other cars and pedestrians.
